Greg and his wife, Shelly, are longtime CC participants. They are blessed with five daughters who have all enjoyed years of CC programs. Their oldest attends Challenge II this year. Truly the family has been involved in CC from all angles. Initially, they participated in the Foundations and Essentials programs, both of which Shelly tutored. She then became a Challenge A director, a state manager, and is now the Student Practicums coordinator. Greg not only helped with CC activities as his wife became more involved, but he also directed a full Challenge B two years.

Greg has a degree in biblical studies and a master's degree in physical education, both of which helped to lay a foundation for a strong belief in the classical model of education and the need for a Christ-centered education.

Greg remembers from his college years the words of Art Holmes: "All truth is God's truth, wherever it may be found." Greg delights in seeing how all truth, regardless of the academic subject, does point to our creator. As a capstone to his training, beliefs and education, Greg shares, "It is truly a blessing to work with Classical Conversations to help others know God and make Him known. "I am excited to be able to work alongside directors in promoting the program and developing new areas for Classical Conversations communities. My heart's desire is truly 'to know God and to make Him known' throughout each state.
