Let's THINK Together!
This 2009 Practicum season, we spend time learning and practicing the valuable skills of logic. Logic is the art of reasoning well laying a firm foundation of reasoning in the truth of God and training students in the crucial components of thinking well. Join us as we recapture the art of thinking and reasoning well. Parents of all age students will benefit from learning how to think well!
Come practice the skills needed to teach your children how to recover the lost tools of learning. Learn to see Him in all you teach. Plan to use your brain and laugh a lot! Our CC facilitators love teaching the fundamentals of learning and turning the difficult into the doable!
These Practicums are for parents and teachers of all grade levels. The cost is FREE for adults and teens! Parents attending practicums can relax knowing that their younger students are learning AND having fun, whether they are in the nursery or in one of our academic camps.

Children/Student Camps listed below. Registration required.
Nursery (0-2yrs) - $43 per Child
Classical Conversations commits to providing quality nursery care for your infants and toddlers so you can enjoy your Parent Practicum. Before dropping off your child, please label all personal belongings. Parents are welcome to pick up and drop off infants as needed.
Play Camp (3-5yrs) - $38 per Child
Designed for preschool students, our play camps are a mixture of play, simple art activities and memory work chanting. Your children will enjoy this time and maybe even learn a few grammar pegs in the process!
Geo-Drawing Camp (6-8yrs) - $38 per Student
During our popular Geo-Drawing Camp, your children will spend three days drawing and mastering the Earth's geography, including the major features and political boundaries of the continents. Facilitators will teach the classical model and drawing skills in order to help your students complete their projects. We use techniques from Mona Brooks' 'Drawing with Children', so your child is sure to love attending this camp!
Writing: Student Intensive (9-14yrs)$38 per Student
Writing Camp facilitators will utilize materials from the Institute for Excellence in Writing. Children will have an EXCELLENT time honing their writing skills and learning new writing techniques. These older camps cover more structures and styles while students improve their writing and prepare for the SAT and other essay assignments. Bring your favorite thesaurus!
