Alexa, Oklahoma

National Memory Master Finalist Alexa from Oklahoma
Alexa enjoys gymnastics, playing piano, and participating in choir. Her favorite subjects in school are reading and history. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for six years, and with the help of her parents, Nathan and Valerie, Alexa has achieved Memory Master five times. Alexa’s mother, Valerie, shared that “Classical Conversations has been both a place for intellectual growth (as memorizing facts has stretched both of our brains) and for social growth (as spending a day with friends is a highlight of the week)!”

National Memory Master Finalist Asa from North CarolinaAsa enjoys reading as well as gaming. His favorite subjects in school are math and history. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for ten years, and with the help of his parents, Gerald and Celeste, Asa has achieved Memory Master four times. Asa shared that he and his family are thankful for Memory Master because it “brought us closer together.”

National Memory Master Finalist Caden from GeorgiaCaden enjoys football, karate, and traveling. His favorite subjects in school are geography and history. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for eight years, and with the help of his parents, Dustin and Lori, Caden has achieved Memory Master seven times. Caden’s encouragement to other Memory Masters is that “faithfully working on a manageable amount of memory work every week pays off. Believe that with God’s help, you can do it!”

National Memory Master Finalist Cameron from TexasCameron enjoys dancing and cheering. Her favorite subjects in school are math and art. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for four years, and with the support of her parents, Brandon and Nicole, she has achieved Memory Master three times. Cameron encourages other Memory Masters to “take it one step at a time, a day at a time, and never give up. Everyone has bad days, and anything worthwhile is not always easy. Keep pushing.”

National Memory Master Finalist Elliot from FloridaElliot enjoys reading, rollerblading, and playing the violin. His favorite subjects in school are history and science. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for eight years, and with the support of his parents, Christopher and Rebecca, he has achieved Memory Master two times. Elliot’s advice to other Memory Masters is that “climbing a mountain takes one step at a time! Don’t get overwhelmed by the enormity of the mountain. Just keep taking one tiny step at a time, and you’ll get there!”

His family has participated in Classical Conversations for ten years, and with the support of his parents, Brian and Kimberly, he has achieved Memory Master four times. Ewan encourages other CC students to “try for Memory Master! The work is worth it!”

Gavin reminds all other Memory Masters, “No matter the setbacks, you can always accomplish great things, so keep working hard.”

Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the support of her parents, Andrew and Nina, she has achieved Memory Master six times. Hallie shared that Memory Master has greatly benefited her. “[It] definitely prepared me for Challenge A! It’s been fun working on the extra stuff with my mom!”

Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the support of her parents, William and Kimberly, she has achieved Memory Master four times. Hannah’s parents shared that “Classical Conversations has given Hannah confidence and shown her how much she can accomplish goals she sets her mind to. It has given her a love of reading and learning. CC has also given her wonderful close friends.”

Jaxin said he is thankful for Memory Master. “I enjoyed the challenge, and I got to spend extra time with my mom.”

Lucille’s advice to hopeful Memory Masters everywhere is to “have fun, play lots of games, and make sure to find awesome songs that help.”

Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the help of her parents, Steve and Lucy, Madeleine has achieved Memory Master six times. Madeleine and her family shared how “Classical Conversations has increased [our] love of learning by allowing [us] to draw connections between what [we] had memorized in the past with the world around [us].”

Madeline encourages other Memory Masters to “work hard daily and know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.”

Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for five years, and with the help of her parents, Christian and Ginger, she has achieved Memory Master four times. Trinity’s mother, Ginger, said that she has seen Trinity grow as she “has pushed herself to combine her artistic mind, theatrics, and school memorization to create a fun video that others will enjoy watching. Trinity’s drive, integrity, and love for the Lord have made her a leader amongst her siblings and peers, staying true to what she believes to be right.”

His family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the help of his parents, Kyle and Britney, Wyatt has achieved Memory Master six times. Wyatt wants to remind other Memory Masters to “practice a lot and forget about any pressure you might feel because you’re learning. Have fun with it because you’re going to learn a lot whether you achieve Memory Master or not.”
