To all the homeschool moms out there, we at Classical Conversations wish you a Happy Mother’s Day! We hope it’s filled with much-deserved rest and, of course, with loved-ones and family.
You have spent the past year teaching your children to recognize truth, beauty, and goodness. You have encouraged them to love learning and follow their interests. And you have set for them an example for what it means to know Him and to make Him known.
Encouragement for Mother’s Day from Proverbs
In the second half of Proverbs 31 (verses 10-31) a mother gives her son advice for what attributes to look for in a future wife. Verses 26-29 read, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’”
Every homeschool mom has fulfilled this description. Educating your own children is no simple task. You all know that homeschooling your children requires intense dedication, hard-work, wisdom, and prayer each and every day of the school year.
So, this Mother’s Day, enjoy the much-needed rest. If you and your family are still working toward the summer, you can do this. Let this Mother’s Day rejuvenate and prepare you to finish out the school year strong!
Thank You to Our Homeschool Moms!
If you have adopted Classical Conversations in your homeschool, of course we want to thank you greatly for choosing and supporting us.
