On behalf of a very grateful university, we want to take a moment to express our deep gratitude for the incredible and meaningful work you, CC homeschool parents, do day in and day out.
As CC parents, you are not just teaching your children how to read, write, and do math; you are shaping their hearts, minds, and souls for a lifetime of impact. You are building the foundation for the next generation of leaders who will carry their faith into the world with courage, conviction, and character.
Through your efforts, we are seeing a growing generation of students who are not only academically advanced but are also strong in their faith, possess remarkable character, and are ready to make a difference in the world around them.
We notice these Challenge students who come to campus hungry to learn and grow. They stand out. We also know that CC parents are investing mightily into who they are becoming. Thank you for your investment in your students’ futures.
We are especially thankful because we love your students! Why do we love your students so much? Lots of reasons, but here are 3 big ones:
1. Your Students are Big Thinkers
One of the greatest blessings of the CC Challenge program is the learning environment that allows your students to excel in ways that might not be possible in a traditional classroom setting. We consistently see CC students who arrive on campus not only prepared but often ahead of their peers in terms of academic maturity and critical thinking.
CC students are self-motivated, independent learners, and they know how to think deeply, solve problems creatively, and take initiative in their studies. We are so grateful for the way you instill a love of learning and a commitment to excellence in them, and we are honored to continue to challenge and inspire them to grow and flourish as they pursue their degree and future calling.
2. Your Students Have Big Faith
As a Christ-centered university, Southeastern University highly values nurturing students’ spiritual growth. We’ve realized that CC parents are some of the most passionate and intentional faith nurturers we know. You are not just teaching your children the facts of the Bible; you are modeling and living out a faith that permeates every part of their lives. And it shows.
The foundation you have laid through prayer, Bible study, church involvement, and intentional discipleship is evident in the students who join us on campus. CC students are grounded in their faith, equipped to handle the challenges of the world. They are ready to be a blessing to those around them. Your investment in their spiritual development has cultivated a love for the Lord and for their neighbors, and our campus community is better because of them.
3. Your Students Have Big Hearts
Perhaps the most inspiring aspect of CC communities is how they foster character development. We see it regularly in the students as we walk around campus.
CC students are compassionate, thoughtful, and responsible, and it is abundantly clear you have taught the value of integrity, service, and leadership… qualities that make them exceptional leaders in both the classroom and in life.
They work hard, they persevere, and they engage with their faculty with humble hearts. The way you have instilled these values through everyday experiences and how to live out those values has made a lasting impact.
Your students are not just here to pursue a degree; they are here to make a difference. And we couldn’t be more grateful for the way you’ve shaped them into young adults who will change the world.

Keep Going Big!
In your time with CC, especially in the Challenge years, you have a unique opportunity to strengthen your students’ faith, foster a deep love for learning, and encourage them to live with purpose. You are solidifying the groundwork for a big future. This is where they will not just be successful in the world’s eyes but faithful in God’s. And we know the investment of time, energy, and lots of prayers is significant.
We know homeschooling isn’t easy. But please know that the lessons you’re teaching your students and the seeds you’re planting are bearing fruit. We see it firsthand every day.
So, if I may be so bold, I encourage you to keep going big! You are doing more than you may realize. The work you are doing is raising up awesome students to step confidently into their next season. You are molding their hearts to love the Lord and their neighbors. But even beyond that, you are crafting a legacy of love, purpose, hope, faith, and excellence that will echo for generations.
That’s big!
Keep pressing on, CC homeschool parents. Keep instilling big dreams. Keep praying big prayers. You are doing something remarkable, and we are truly grateful to walk the journey with you. Thank you for entrusting us with your students. We are so honored to partner with parents like you. SEU promises to light a fire in their hearts and minds to see God’s big future ahead for them!
