Bayla, Wyoming

Bayla enjoys training horses, playing her violin, and writing poetry. Her favorite subjects in school are history, math, and writing. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for eight years, and with the support of her parents, Kyle and Stacy, Bayla has achieved Memory Master four times. She encourages hopeful Memory Masters everywhere to “take it one day at a time, but be consistent with memorizing your memory work.”

Blythe, Texas

Blythe enjoys propagating succulents, attending musical theater, and dancing, among other interests. Her favorite subjects in school are reading, writing, and memory work. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for fourteen years, and with the support of her parents, Matt and Tiffany, Blythe has achieved Memory Master seven times. Her mother, Tiffany, shares, “I can’t imagine our homeschooling journey without Classical Conversations. The curriculum, the community, the accountability, and the opportunity to develop deeper thinking and public speaking skills—such a gift to our family!”

Caleb, Texas

Caleb plays soccer and basketball and enjoys robotics and piano, among other interests. His favorite subjects in school are reading, history, and science. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for six years, and with the support of his parents, Tyler and Brittany, Caleb has achieved Memory Master five times. He shares, “I would encourage other students to believe in what they are capable of and to remember how much they already know from years of studying the weekly memory work.”

Eliot, California

Eliot enjoys soccer, skiing, playing piano, and aviation. His favorite subjects in school are science and the weekly lessons in Essentials. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for eight years, and with the support of his parents, Josh and Annie, Eliot has achieved Memory Master five times. His mother, Annie, shares, “It has created the framework for our home school by allowing him to meditate on what is true and good and beautiful. Our community has been such an encouragement and a means for us to learn how to love God and love others.”

Gabriel, Alabama

Gabriel enjoys baseball, basketball, singing, and violin. His favorite subjects in school are math and reading. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the support of his parents, Dean and Lee, Gabriel has achieved Memory Master four times. Gabriel reminds hopeful Memory Masters everywhere to “work hard. Do your best. Always do what God calls you to do.”

Gloria, Colorado

Gloria is interested in languages, playing chess, playing with her dog, and reading. Her favorite subjects in school are math, science, history, and geography. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for eleven years, and with the support of her parents, Agnel and Sarah, Gloria has achieved Memory Master twice. Her mother, Sarah, shares, “Gloria worked diligently for years to overcome challenges associated with dyslexia. When Gloria achieved Memory Master for the first time, she literally stood taller; she was so proud. For my part, I was so grateful that she was able to persevere and see how capable is really is.”

Isaac, California

Isaac has many hobbies, including making movies with friends, having Nerf wars, and playing Legos. His favorite subjects in school are history and math. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for six years, and with the support of his parents, Andy and Heather, Isaac has achieved Memory Master six times. His mother, Heather, shares, “Classical Conversations has shaped the narrative of Isaac’s worldview, primarily through a sequential understanding of history from creation to modern day; it has given him a strong context for how the Bible fits into history.”

Kai, South Carolina

Kai participates in competitive speech and debate, and he enjoys city planning, physics, and playing with Legos. His favorite subjects in school are science, history, and geography. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for eighteen years, and with the support of his parents, Masaki and Charisse, Kai has achieved Memory Master four times. Kai encourages other hopeful Memory Masters to “be in an attitude of learning and have a surrounding where the material you wish to learn is everywhere. When you recite, you will be pleasantly surprised as to how much material is ingrained upon your mind.”

Katrina, Mississippi

Katrina is interested in hobby farming and rollerblading, and she enjoys reading. Her favorite subjects in school are math and history. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for six years, and with the support of her parents, Timothy and Carolyn, Katrina has achieved Memory Master five times. She encourages hopeful Memory Masters everywhere to keep “looking for fun ways to do hard work.”

Liam, Virginia

Liam enjoys swimming, playing baseball, and going camping. His favorite subjects in school are geography, history, and reading. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the support of his parents, Abe and Emily, Liam has achieved Memory Master three times. His mother, Emily, shares, “Classical Conversations has greatly benefited my student’s social and academic development. The program has provided structure and motivation for my son to memorize so many awesome facts, to engage with art and science in meaningful ways, and to develop grammar and writing skills.”

Lousana, South Carolina

Lousana enjoys martial arts, reading, horseback riding, and traveling with her family. Her favorite subjects in school are history, geography, and writing. She especially loves Faces of History! Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for eight years, and with the support of her parents, Jason and Renee, Lousana has achieved Memory Master four times. Her mother, Renee, shares, “This has been a really fun, challenging, and enjoyable experience for parent and student alike, and a very satisfying way to crown our eight years of Foundations together.”

Meyer, Arizona

Meyer is interested in sports, mechanics, and drawing. His favorite subjects in school are science and reading. His family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the support of his parents, Matthew and Sierra, Meyer has achieved Memory Master three times. His father, Matthew, says that Classical Conversations “has encouraged Meyer to push himself to be faithful with the small things in the grammar stage, helping him see how everything is connected in the dialectic stage. We are excited to see his hard work bear fruit as he begins the rhetorical stage, starting Challenge next year!”

Noelle, Ohio

Noelle has many interests, including Irish dancing, piano, and baking. Her favorite subjects in school are geography, writing, and reading. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for seven years, and with the support of her parents, Rob and Jocelyn, Noelle has achieved Memory Master five times. Her mother, Jocelyn, shares, “Classical Conversations has exposed us to new tools for learning and to subjects we may not have tackled on our own.”

Noelle has many interests, including sewing, playing Minecraft and cricket, and spending time with her kitty, Bandit. Her favorite subjects in school are math and science. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for eight years, and with the support of her parents, Michael and Casey, Noelle has achieved Memory Master twice. Noelle encourages hopeful Memory Masters everywhere to “practice, practice, practice. Keep practicing on it until you are ready! With God, all things are possible!”

Serenity, Texas

Serenity enjoys gymnastics, musical theater, and playing piano, among other interests. Her favorite subjects in school are history, math, and Latin. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for five years, and with the support of her parents, Craig and Desiree, Serenity has achieved Memory Master five times. Serenity reminds hopeful Memory Masters everywhere to “find songs to listen to, or make up your own songs, to help you memorize verses and lists for all the subjects that don’t already have official songs” and “to start writing stories from history prompts sooner than I did. It is achievable!”

Sophia is interested in art, playing violin, and writing. Her favorite subjects in school are history and writing. Her family has participated in Classical Conversations for ten years, and with the support of her parents, John and Lauren, Sophia has achieved Memory Master four times. Sophia says that “being a Memory Master takes work and dedication, and it is well worth it!”
